Matej Paluš and Mario Poór join Ogilvy

Ogilvy is pleased to announce key appointments to its T-Mobile and Tesco account teams. Matej Paluš joined in mid-February as account director, leading the Ticino team working on T-Mobile accounts. Mario Poór joined the creative department in January and is a retail creative expert working primarily on Tesco as Creative Director.

Matej Paluš joined Ogilvy from Triad Advertising and as Account Director, his main responsibility is to lead and develop the 15-person agency team in Ticino. As the main partner and contact for client communications, he is primarily responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of the collaboration. For T-Mobile, he also coordinates all stakeholders in campaign development and project preparation.

At Triad Advertising, Matej has spent the last few years as an Account Director & Team Leader, focusing on team development and client service for brands such as IKEA, Renault, Dacia and Velkopopovický Kozel - the latter of which he oversaw the preparation of campaigns for foreign markets. He is a signatory of IKEA's successful and award-winning awareness campaign against domestic violence, which was shortlisted at Cannes. During IKEA's two-year campaign For a Safe Home, he was mainly a strategic partner for the client and also fully covered the execution part of the campaign.

In January, Mario Poór, an experienced creative with a strong retail background, joined Ogilvy. As creative director, he leads the agency's team of creatives developing above-the-line communications, integrated campaigns, in-store communications and now digital campaigns for the Tesco brand in the Czech Republic. Mario has worked in the advertising industry for over twenty years. Since 2020 he has been working as a creative director for the Prague office of the Slovak agency Effectivity, which was renamed Effe Prague in 2022. In recent years he has worked mainly for the Kaufland retail chain.

Before moving to the Czech Republic, he worked in the Slovak advertising market through the agencies Mark BBDO and Respect APP. He gained most of his experience at MUW Saatchi & Saatchi on the T-Mobile account. Together with his team, he won the most awards in the industry, including one of the most successful campaigns in the history of Slovak advertising, "Links", which launched the new slogan "Let's experience it together" for T-Mobile Slovakia. In 2010, the Slovak magazine Strategie named Mario Poor Art Director of the Year.
