Originally the bad banker was supposed to die in the Air Bank commercials
Ondřej Obluk, CEO Ogilvy, and Tomáš Belko, Executive Creative Director Ogilvy, comment to Marketing & Media on the presentation of Air Bank's new communication concept, the original Two Worlds concept with which Ogilvy launched the bank twelve years ago. At that time, the collaboration was characterised by an amiable atmosphere, client trust, freedom, and extreme care.
"To be involved in the creation of a new brand at a stage where the client doesn't even have an office is rare," říká Ondřej Obluk, CEO Ogilvy.
Before the client approved the concept, Tomáš Belko wrote thirty scenarios to show that the idea had a long-term future. "It was a lot like writing for the theatre, which I've always enjoyed very much. We wrote at least five plots for each brief. These were chosen in discussion with the client, directors, strategists and accountants. And then we did a mock shoot, with a lot of input from the actors," says Tomáš Belko.
