Ogilvy's Young Lions go to Cannes again

11/04/2023

This year's Young Lions competition was once again a success for Ogilvy. This year, the agency will be represented in Cannes by the winning duo in the PR category. Lucía Vítová, Account Executive Ogilvy PR, and Jakub Wija, Account Assistant Ogilvy PR, will also be competing in the global round of the Young Talent Competition at Cannes Lions.

Both Lucía and Jakub see themselves as winners among all the participants. The experience gained, the testing of their own skills and the feedback from the jury is priceless, they say.

"The competition showed us how short 24 hours can be, or how difficult and important compromises are at the same time. But also, the fun, which is often mentioned by all the participants, is not a myth."

This year, Barbora Šumanská, Social Director Ogilvy, headed the jury in the PR category. She praised all the teams for the work they did for the Change for the Better Foundation during the 24 hours of ESG awareness.

"For the winning work, I must highlight both the level of presentation and the creative content. The contestants were able to tackle both a complex topic and a target group of SMEs that is so often not reached."
