Ogilvy creative team strengthened by Ondřej Zvolský and Michal Pivarči

03/04/2024

Since March, Ogilvy agency has grown with new creative staff. Ondřej Zvolský has joined the Ticino team as Senior Copywriter, working on T-Mobile clients. The position of Creative Director in the same team has been newly filled by Michal Pivarči - in this role, he will be in charge of all creative deliverables within campaigns and projects for the magento operator. Both fresh hires are part of planned changes in the structure and way of functioning of Ogilvy's creative team, which has been led by Mike Martin since last September.

"I am very happy that Michal and Ondřej accepted my offer and became part of the newly emerging creative studio in Ogilvy. Their energy, enthusiasm and the unconventional way of creative thinking with which they approach solving client briefs is what makes them stand out in our creative community. Moreover, they are great personalities whose egos don't get in the way of their work, and I'm all the happier to welcome them to our team and look forward to the campaigns we'll create together," says Mike Martin, Ogilvy's Chief Creative Officer.

Michal Pivarči comes to Ogilvy from Triad and replaces Michaela Pechanova as Creative Director of the Ticino team, who remains part of Ogilvy and will be responsible for creative supervision on selected clients (e.g. Budějovický Budvar, Mondelēz, campaigns for Netflix) and in tenders. Michal has spent the last eight years at Triad, where he gradually worked his way up to the role of Creative Director of one of the creative teams. He has been working in advertising as a copywriter and idea maker for more than ten years, with experience in creative and communication concepts for large integrated campaigns as well as for specific channels, such as digital and social media. He has worked for many years on brands from the Plzeňský Prazdroj portfolio (Pilsner Urquell, Kozel).

In his role as Creative Director, he has been involved in many significant award-winning campaigns at home and abroad. Examples include the first Czech TV spot for the Wolt delivery service, the Extreme Coding Challenge recruitment campaign for Livesport, the first Czech ad on the OnlyFans platform for the non-alcoholic beer Birell, or the TV campaign for Sedita for "Horalky peanut butter", which communicated the first innovation in taste in over fifty years with the aim of refreshing the communication and bringing the product closer to the younger generation. In addition to the IMC Czech Awards, the campaigns for Wolt, Birell and Livesport also scored points at the European Impact Awards 2023 - together winning two gold trophies and one silver.

Ondřej Zvolský joins Ogilvy as Senior Copywriter from VCCP Prague, where he held the same position. He has many years of experience in advertising copywriting for clients from various industries at agencies such as WMC/Grey and DDB Prague. During this time, he and his team won more than twenty creative and other awards, including the Grand Prix at the Effie in 2022 for the Dopravart, Rychlart, Chytrart project for the Datart e-shop. He is also responsible for the shortcut concept for Kofola "Twl, KFL!" or the launch of a special CareWare clothing collection for Rossmann made from an innovative seaweed-based material that cares for the skin like moisturiser does.
