Diversity is the key in the field of creativity
"Diversity is central to the field of creativity, which thrives on a diversity of opinions and abilities. It's not about ticking boxes that we have met. We will be better as a world and as a society with the broadest possible participation not only in terms of gender, races, ethnicities, nationalities, but also age and experience," says Patou Nuytemans, CEO of EMA Ogilvy in an interview for Marketing & Media.
In the interview, she explains her experience from working in different parts of the world, such as working in the Middle East and South Africa, the leadership style she promotes and how she overcomes imposter syndrome. She also mentions a regional programme called #xCHANGERS, which involves young talent in the leadership of the agency. Among other things, it aims to inspire individual markets to introduce their own initiatives as part of a collaborative strategy to make listening to young colleagues part of Ogilvy's operations.
